PICK-UP FOR TOUR: 03.07.12 at
08:45 from accommodation in Reykjavik. The domestic flight departs from
Reykjav’k at 10:30 and arrives in B’ldudalur, West
Fjords, at 11:10 noon.
LANGUAGES: This tour
is guided in English and French from day 2 to day 8
ACCOMMODATION: Hotels,
Farms and Country Guest Houses in rooms with shower/wc.
The hotels used on tours are often guesthouses or Òsummer hotelsÓ and are
simple and clean. The group will stay at the following accommodations (subject
to change):

or Hotel Cabin in Reykjavik first and last night
* Hotel Breiðav’k
or Hotel L‡trabjarg for 1 night
* Hotel Sandafell,
Thingeyri for 2 nights
* Farm Guesthouse Heydalur for 1 night

Drangsnes for 2 nights
MEALS: 8x
breakfast and 6x dinner (3-course or buffet. Lunch stops will be made at
restaurants or cafŽ-shops en route.

ON TOUR: There is an
average of 1-2 hours easy hiking & walking each day. Good walking boots are
needed on all our tours, as well as waterproof clothing and we recommend
walking/hiking sticks and a binocular for bird watching.
NOTE: Single rooms
are limited on this tour and we might have to ask single travellers
to share rooms.
