On the Mount Hekla Expedition tour, experience an exciting day in a 4x4 truck that travels through the rough mountain terrain at the foot of Mount Hekla, Iceland’s most famous volcano. Here the landscape is shaped by centuries of volcanic activity. In the comfort of our trucks, we climb 1,000 meters above sea level to enjoy the captivating view over nearby glaciers and Icelandic landscape. From Hekla, we travel south through a scenic track of the highlands toward Mýrdalsjökull, Iceland's fourth largest glacier.
